No, Topsmile devices feature a smart sensor chip which is programmed to only vibrate on your teeth and automatically stops when it senses soft tissues, such as gums and lips.

This means that you are able to use it worry-free, even if you accidentally place it on your gums.

No, we engineered Topsmile for at-home use by minimizing the heat produced from ultrasonic vibration, unlike the mechanism used by professional cleaners at the dentists.

No, ultrasonic tooth cleaners should not be used on veneers, crowns, teeth with fillings or other dental work.

2. Select the “Soft” setting
3. Place the cleaning head on the problematic area

We engineer the device in a way the cleaning head only activates on tooth surfaces. So if you see the light turned on but the tooth cleaner is silent, don’t worry. Just place it on a hard surface and the vibration will come alive.

Initially you may want to use it in intervals to remove all the visible plaque and stains. To maintain and prevent the long-term buildup of stains and calculus, it is recommended that you use it to remove any plaque and teeth buildup 1-2 times per week.
